ABSTRACT
By introducing organic modified nano silica, recycled PET comes to life again. Organic layer improves the compatibility between SiO2 and polyester, making fillers well disperse in matrix. Nano silica acts multiple roles, which greatly enhances the viscosity, crystallinity and mechanical properties of nanocomposites. The strategy proposed is beneficial to efficiently reuse recycled PET with small amount of nano fillers.

ABSTRACT
A “turn-on” fluorescence sensing platform towards Pb2+ with high selectivity and sensitivity was established by nitrogen-doped carbon dots. A suppressed photo-induced electron transfer (PET) was proposed for the sensing mechanism. This work can advance the development of nanomaterial-based sensors for in-situ detection of environmental samples. -

ABSTRACT
A highly sensitive luminescent porous organic polymer probe TAPB-BTDD for ultrasensitive detection of Pd2+ in aqueous solution is developed. The limit of detection (LOD) is determined to be 0.54 μM within a linear range between 0 and 100 μM. Meanwhile, the other ions show no interference effect. -

In this work, a highly symmetric 1,2-difluoro-4,5-dinitrobenzene was synthesized in one step by regulating the ratio of non-covalent interaction by fluorine atoms to regulate the melting point and fully characterized. It is a promising insensi-tive melt-castable energetic material. -

ABSTRACT
A direct Z-scheme Bi2WO6/La2Ti2O7 photocatalyst is successfully synthesized by electrostatic self-assembly method. The selectivity of CO2 reduction to CO is improved from 74% of La2Ti2O7 to nearly 100%, and the CO yield is 7.5 times that of individual La2Ti2O7. This work provides a new insight for the construction of efficient photocatalyst for selective reduction of CO2 to CO. -

ABSTRACT
A novel luminescent 3,8-connected double interpenetrated dual-wall “cage in cage” (MOFs), named {[In6(O)3(BTB)4]·3H2O}n (1), exhibits extra-high thermal and pH stability. It can sense the multiple antibiotic drugs and detect NFT in milk. It exhibits attractive detection sensitivity and selectivity. Furthermore, the DFT theoretical calculation reveals the sensing mechanism. -
