ABSTRACT

In conclusion, the work by Guo, Lv, Lin, and colleagues represents a notable advance in the design of acidic OER catalysts. It moves the field beyond empirical optimization and into the realm of rational structural design, demonstrating that within the disordered framework of amorphous oxides, precise control over local atomic structure is attainable, offering a tangible route to manipulate OER pathways.
